上學第一天的書包裡沒有功課，
只有老師送的一個牛皮紙袋。
寫著:
Welcome to fourth grade!
I am so glad we are going to be together
this school year. This Little “care package”
may seen a bit odd,
but each item contains a
message for you to
remember.
Read the following message as you
look at the items in the bag….

打開看，
掉出Toothpick牙籤、Rubber Band橡皮筋、
Band-Aid OK繃、
Pencil鉛筆、Eraser橡皮擦、Bubble Gum口香糖、
Cotton Ball棉花球、Chocolate巧克力、
Tissue面紙、Gold Thread金線、
Penny銅板、Life Saver糖果(救生圈形).

1.牙籤，
挑出別人的長處。

2.橡皮筋，
保持彈性，每件事情都能完成。

3.OK繃，
恢復別人以及自己受傷的感情。

4.鉛筆，
寫下你每天的願望。

5.橡皮擦，
everyone makes mistakes and it is OK 。
每個人都會犯錯，沒關係的。

6.口香糖，
堅持下去就能完成工作。
而且當你嘗試時，你會得到樂趣。

7.棉花球，
這間教室充滿和善的言語與溫暖的感情。

8.巧克力，
當你沮喪時會讓你舒服些。

9.面紙，
to remind you to help dry someone’s tears，
幫別人擦乾眼淚。

10.金線，
記得用友情把我們的心綁在一起。

11.銅板，
to remind you that you are valuable and special。
你是有價值而且特殊的。

12.救生圈（救生圈形糖果），
當你需要談一談時，你可以來找我。
